Elina had another photo published in the USA Today weather photo gallery. The photo was taken in the garden after snow covered the Aloe plants, hence the photo name "An Aloe's Blue Christmas" |

So last night we had several inches of snow, which was very pretty, unless you were trying to travel on I-10. With low temperatures in the morning, road conditions became icy and I-10 was shut east and westbound at Las Cruces.

This weekend the Whole Enchilada Softball Invitational was held in Las Cruces. Rain disrupted the event, but going to a fast pitch schedule enabled all the matches to be played. We would like to thank Bert Frederick, Dave Boswell, the USSSA directors and umpires for their patronage and another great event for Las Cruces. |
